Dear You,

If you're reading this, we believe your heart is probably in the right place. We're guessing that you either know one of us or someone on our team, have had a friend come with us and tell you about their experience, or maybe you stumbled upon us on Google. However it was--we are happy you're here! We have put a lot of hard work, tears, and money into this organization because we are passionate about trying to make a difference in the world. We believe we can. We believe we ARE. The good news is you can too!

Through years of traveling around the world, we became inspired to serve others in a way that would make a lasting impact in the fight against worldwide hunger and malnutrition. We believe that knowledge is power. That is why we focus on nutrition education. Our goal is to empower and knowledge does just that. Volunteering with NEEM means that you'll make a sustainable and culturally-appropriate difference. We research each area where we serve in depth to understand their culture, motivators, religions, family systems, food practices and beliefs, and various malnutrition factors. Our volunteers see a lot of unfair situations, and their hearts are changed. It's not always easy, but we hope you're up to the challenge. We want volunteers who have a desire to see the world & experience new cultures. Volunteers who are open-minded and appreciate diversity. Volunteers who can smile through humidity and heat and enjoy making new friends. We need people who truly believe that they can make a difference, and want to share their love, light, and service to beautiful souls across the world.

This experience will offer new perspectives and an opportunity of growth. It will provide you with an incredible opportunity to not only serve with people from all over world, but also to learn from those we serve. The work we do through Nutrition Education Ending Malnutrition helps us stay focused on the things that truly matter in life: love, compassion and service to others. We hope that this is the experience that you've been looking for and we hope to welcome you into the NEEM family.

xxxx, Marisa & Tanner Christensen
